Salt Creek Capital Announces the Sale of King Tester Corporation

Woodside, California (January 28, 2025) – Salt Creek Capital is pleased to announce the sale of King Tester Corporation (“King” or the “Company”) to James Knight, the Company’s current CEO. Established in 1935, King Tester and its subsidiaries are recognized as global leaders in portable Brinell hardness testers, microscopes, digital and analog tension measurement instruments, and WDXRF analysis products. Salt Creek Capital originally partnered with Mr. Knight to acquire King in 2015. Mr. Daniel Price, Partner at Salt Creek Capital, stated “We appreciate Jim’s leadership during our involvement and the growth initiatives that he accomplished, including the add-on acquisitions of Tensitron and Cianflone Scientific to create a platform serving a broader range of Test & Measurement markets.
